FREELANCE PRODUCER, JOURNEY

Type: Freelance Contract (approx. 6 months), Hybrid – London (Cranmer House, Brixton Rd)

About the Role

As a Producer, you’ll manage a diverse slate of projects spanning content, media, and digital production. You’ll oversee delivery from concept to completion, working closely with creative and technical teams, clients, and external collaborators. This role requires strong organisational skills, client management, and the ability to balance creative ambition with commercial discipline. Projects range from £20k to £1m+, including both UK-based and international work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production across multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, leading meetings and progress updates

  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources for projects of varying scales

  • Lead internal team meetings and prioritisation, managing multidisciplinary teams (3D artists, designers, editors, developers)

  • Plan and coordinate shoots (studio or location), including kit hire, permissions, talent, and scheduling

  • Contract and manage subcontractors and external partners

  • Use production tools (Google Docs, Miro, MS Office Suite) to track progress and maintain workflows

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and support business development teams

What They’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in an agency or production environment

  • Strong track record managing complex, multi-deliverable projects

  • Experience managing creative and technical resources across disciplines

  • Confident budget management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Highly organised and detail-focused, able to juggle multiple projects

  • Proficiency with project management tools and Google Docs

  • Willingness to travel (UK and internationally)

  • Background in producing CG content or digital applications is highly desirable
