Communications Officer, BRIGHTON DOME & BRIGHTON FESTIVAL
About the Role
Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival is looking for a Communications Officer to help plan and deliver media campaigns and digital storytelling across its programmes, events and platforms. Working within the Communications team, you’ll help secure impactful regional media coverage, create engaging content and support campaigns across Brighton Dome, Brighton Festival and Create Music.

What You’ll Do
• Support the planning and delivery of proactive and reactive communications campaigns across media relations and social media
• Write engaging and inclusive copy for digital platforms, campaigns and organisational communications
• Help distribute and amplify content across internal and external channels
• Build relationships with regional media and support the pitching of stories to journalists
• Manage media enquiries, image requests, press materials and digital press kits
• Support launches, events and other activity, including occasional evening and weekend work
• Monitor media coverage, social conversations and wider activity around the organisation
• Help coordinate photography and film content, including working with external content producers
• Collaborate with teams across programming, ticketing, development, events and heritage
• Monitor campaign performance and produce coverage logs and campaign reports
• Support partnerships, sponsorships and media relationships
• Help strengthen the profiles of Brighton Dome, Brighton Festival and Create Music

• Experience using media monitoring or journalist database systems
• Photo editing or other creative software skills
• Experience working in a busy office environment
