BRAND AND COMMUNICATIONS APPRENTICE, BUSINESS OF FASHION (BOF)

The Business of Fashion is seeking a Brand & Communications Apprentice to provide operational support to the Brand & Communications team at BoF. The role is responsible for supporting the creation of content, campaigns and experiences that grow the BoF brand. This is an exciting, 12-month opportunity reporting to the Director of Brand & Communications.

With an organised and meticulous approach to work, you will have excellent organisational skills, a passion for fashion and beauty, as well as the ability to balance analytical thinking and creativity. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires working across multiple projects.

This role is based in London, with a hybrid working approach which is a mix of two days in our London co-working space and remote working. We are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:

BRAND MARKETING

  • You will play an important role in the smooth running of the BoF Brand & Communications team based in London by coordinating with the newsroom, marketing, design, social media and other parts of BoF.

  • You will play an integral role in the development of The BoF 500, and other brand activations by taking notes during review meetings, compiling research packs and sourcing imagery.

  • You will provide brand support across events (summits, dinners, roundtables etc.) including sending invitations, planning seating charts and supporting image selection for press releases.

  • You will work in partnership with the People team on materials and events designed to champion the BoF brand internally e.g. BoF’s brand training, internal speaker series events.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • You will support the press desk by compiling clippings, testimonials and performance reports on a weekly basis. You will coordinate the approval of inbound media opportunities for the BoF team.

  • You will maintain BoF’s contact database by sourcing emails of key collaborators for content, events and partnerships.

  • You will help to build community surveys and organise focus groups to capture insights from The BoF community.

  • You will build collaborative relationships with other teams and champion BoF’s brand values in every interaction.

You are in the early stages of your career with an authentic enthusiasm for fashion with a strong commitment to a long-lasting career in the industry.

  • Strong work ethic, self-driven, and skilled in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.

  • An analytical and creative flair, reflected in writing copy and image selection.

  • Embraces feedback with enthusiasm, showing a genuine desire for personal growth and learning.

  • Social confidence and ease in interacting with high-profile individuals.

  • Proficient in keynote and excel are a must.
