UX Design Intern, Interaction Design, AMAZON
ABOUT THE ROLE
Amazon is hiring a UX Design Intern to join its London Studio Design Team within Devices & Services.
This is a 3 month internship beginning summer 2026. You will work at the intersection of user experience and user interface design, contributing to concepts that shape the future of Amazon’s consumer hardware and services, including Alexa, Echo, Fire TV, Fire tablets and Kindle. You’ll collaborate with designers, technologists and cross functional partners to create compelling visual experiences and intuitive interactions, gaining hands on experience in a high impact, real world environment.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with designers and cross functional teams to deliver user experience designs
Design visually strong, thoughtful interfaces
Create prototypes demonstrating intuitive interaction patterns and micro interactions
Develop product visualisations to communicate design concepts clearly
Translate business requirements into visual concepts, interaction flows and prototypes
Use customer feedback, usability findings and market insight to inform user centred design decisions
Present design thinking and craft compelling narratives to diverse stakeholders
Work across the full design lifecycle from early stage concepts to high fidelity execution
Who This Is For
Students currently enrolled in a degree in interaction design, visual design, motion design, industrial design or a related field
Individuals with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft, interaction thinking and design process
Designers familiar with wireframing and prototyping tools
Creative thinkers who understand typography, layout, composition and accessible design
People who can communicate design decisions clearly and confidently
Bonus If You Have
Experience with motion design
Experience in 3D CAD
Experience building high-fidelity interactive prototypes
Experience designing across multiple platforms and form factors
Familiarity with generative AI tools or AI augmented design workflows
