WHO IS YOUNG?

  • Young is a music and arts organisation, built around a London based record label that helps exceptional artists locate and develop their genius.

  • Young Artists is the artist management arm of Young and we are looking for enthusiastic interns who are keen to gain a greater understanding of the music industry whilst supporting the team.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

  • Our internships run for 3 months and pay the London Living Wage.

  • We are committed to ensuring that successful candidates gain as much from the internship as we do.

  • We spend time with each intern to find out what they are looking to learn and tailor their internship accordingly.

  • Candidates should be actively engaged fans of music and culture with a keen interest in the industry.

  • They should also be motivated, organised and diligent.

  • Our internships are entry level and don’t require any specific skills, however any skills you do have such as content creation or audio engineering could be put to good use. Please let us know what education, training or experience you have.

  • Please note that although new music is at the heart of our business, this position does not involve any scouting or A&R. If you are interested in this side of the industry please follow us for any future opportunities.

  • The internship is a full time position, based out of Young Space, our office and studio space in De Beauvoir, N1.

  • Whilst your specific responsibilities will be based on your interests and skill sets you will broadly be expected to assist the artist management team with anything from meeting notes and errands through to release campaigns and tour marketing. You will also be expected to assist the team at Young Space with day to day operations and events as required.

  • We are looking to hire interns for the following start dates:

    • April 1st, 2024 (13 weeks)

    • July 1st, 2024 (13 weeks)

  • In your covering letter please explain in 250 words or less which area of the music industry you are most interested in and why.
